Erik Mornils (1900-1974) was a significant Swedish ceramic artist, best known for his long tenure (1925-1967) at Nittsjö Keramik, where he became the first designer, pioneering modern functionalism and creating beloved Allmoge (peasant-style) series still made today, blending traditional craft with clean, sculptural forms popular in Art Deco and Scandinavian Moderndesign.
