Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Swedish ceramic artist and designer, best known for his role as Artistic Director at Rörstrand from 1931 to 1955. He gained international recognition for his innovative stoneware with matte feldspar glazes and for his expressive animal sculptures in chamotte.
Earlier in his career, he worked in Denmark at Bing & Grøndahl and co-founded Saxbo Keramik. He later served as Artistic Director at Strömbergshyttan Glassworks and worked extensively as a freelance designer. Nylund also created numerous public artworks and is widely represented in major museum collections in Sweden and internationally.
