The story of BoConcept began in 1952 in Herning, Denmark. Two young cabinetmakers, Jens Ærthøj and Tage Mølholm, opened a small workshop with a clear goal: to combine traditional Danish craftsmanship with modern factory production to create functional, high-quality furniture for everyday homes. Over the following decades, the small workshop expanded as "Danish Design" gained international recognition. In the 1990s, the brand was officially named BoConcept.
